Yuri: Angel Beats! 1/8 Goodsmile Figure Review.

Jang jang jang jang!

Will be doing a mini review on this Yuri figure from the anime "Angel Beats!" for today. If I remember correctly, this figure was considered relatively cheap compared to other Goodsmile Company figures because they are using a new method to sculpt these figures.

Apparently it's somewhat like making a model with a 3D program, and then use a 3D printer to produce it.

It's a well made figure nonetheless.

I like how the paint job was done but I think the face is a little... weird? Or maybe it's just me? Yuri looks too default. Like there isn't any details worth being given an extra mention. I'm not a fan of her lips though, I think it's kinda half-arsed.

Not sure how to describe half-arsed. Like... nowhere near good nor is it that bad?

Me loves her gun~! Look at the shiny, metallic appearance! Don't you think it's so cool to see a Japanese schoolgirl (although only the lower part of her body) holding a gun?!! So life-like too. I am starting to appreciate my twisted photography skills. *wink wink*

Even though it wasn't sculpted and was done by technology, I think it's still pretty close to a good job because there are some figures out there in the market that are sculpted, but..the..quality...ss...sss....suuu....ssssuckkksss.....

So with a lower price, you get a well made figure as well! Let's just try not to complain too much and be contented with a half arsed lip Yuri.

There were controversy with regards to her limbs, with it not looking proportionate or generally just strange. I thought it seems to be the case too but the more you look at it, the more you find it looks normal. Besides, it's not sculpted, which also means in the first place the prototype that they used for the 3D program is unproportionate too?

I THINK? (Since I'm not very well versed in graphics knowledge so I'd better put a question mark in front) ^^;

Angle plays an important part too actually. So it will still look great if you know how to do it right!

Which side do you belong to?

I might do injustice to some figures that I have if I don't do a "particular something", so I'm going to pick up a new law when I take pictures of my figures. It's a must-have in my folder on my laptop now.

Needs to do some tweaking of some work I have on hand, and then write a reply letter back to Yuka-chan, and then watch my anime.

Oh yeah, I bought another One Piece and Evangelion shirts from UNIQLO again! Still contemplating whether I should go back and buy the Gundam one. I didn't watch Gundam so it's not a must, just that I already have 2 Gundam shirts anyway and I saw some nice ones at UNIQLO last week.

By the way, did you guys saw the recent Wonderfes items?!!!

Another dead body has been found in a reservoir in Singapore -- this time in Lower Seletar.

Believed to be that of an elderly Chinese man, the body was discovered on Saturday afternoon, and police were alerted to it at 3:15pm, reported The Straits Times.

Police and paramedics arrived at the scene at about 3:30pm, and Yahoo! Singapore understands that the body was found floating near the park's Family Bay.

The man was pronounced dead at 3:50pm, and his belongings were believed to have been found on the river bank near where he was found.

Police have classified the incident as an unnatural death, although no foul play is suspected. Investigations are ongoing." -Taken from SGYahooNews

This should have nothing to do with me... but the body was found on Saturday afternoon. I was at that reservoir on Friday night and Saturday morning. .__.

To think there was a dead body floating near me. AND I EVEN TOOK A PICTURE OF THE RESEVOIR AT NIGHT WITHOUT KNOWING!! But no problems because I've already checked for supernatural ghostly figures on my photo. There's none. Good.

Went overnight cycling on Friday night! Probably the last time we're renting bikes at Bishan Park since the shop is closing next month. We traveled much further than the previous time and it was.... awesomely tiring. I now have a fatter aching butt.

Here's the route that we took:

Bishan -> Ang Mo Kio -> Yio Chu Kang -> Khatib -> Yishun -> Sembawang

then on Saturday morning:

Sembawang -> Yishun -> Khatib -> Yio Chu Kang -> Ang Mo Kio -> Bishan

Lower Seletar Reservoir was extremely chilly, almost similar to what I experienced in Japan (it was that bad, am shocked too). It was reallyyyyy cold and cycling near the waters certainly did not make me any warmer, since the breeze gets to you while you're speeding against the wind direction.

Anyway, I just finished Blood C Episode 3.

Even though it's by CLAMP, but I don't think it lived up to my expectations although it's still too early to say. I thought it might be something similar to Blood+.

I really liked Blood+ because it was the first few anime that left me emotionally affected when it comes to Saya and Diva's relationship, and how they ended the series. If you guys haven't watched Blood+, you should.

I am getting delusional. Not good.

Had dinner with Amos yesterday night.
Walked home from Serangoon to Ang Mo Kio.
Got partially lost because we ended up at somewhere strange.
Fell down at the playground while climbing the spider web.
Knees are injured and I'm in pain.
Might have hit my brain too.

And after that I went in a convenience store nearby just to buy an instant braised egg that lazy people buy to go with their cup noodles instead of cooking the eggs themselves. The cashier must have thought I was trying to be funny, because I didn't buy any cup noodles. I just bought that one egg.

That...one egg.

The reason why I think I might have injured my brain after falling down is because yesterday, I suddenly thought that my voice turned feminine. Not true. Then today, I found my fat face cute, which is ABSURD because I would NEVER think like that. The most hated part of myself would be my face fat and I suddenly thought it.. was... cute?!!! NO WAYYYYYY.

Maybe tomorrow I will think I have a sexy figure.

Malaysia just for A&W!

Our main purpose for going into Malaysia this time round is to have A&W, a fast food chain that became extinct in Singapore many years ago.

I remembered Mom used to bring my brother and I to the outlet in Ang Mo Kio when we were very young, and we loved the root beer float and the curly fries. I can't remember the rest of the menu until I had it last week. （￣～￣;）

I don't get they don't have outlets in Singapore anymore.

And the long awaited...................... ROOT BEER!!

But it's in a paper cup! *slaps forehead*

It seems like they don't serve root beer in a frosted mug anymore (even though they still use mugs to portray their root beers -_- cheaters). Maybe many customers tend to break their mugs or even steal them home?!! Or maybe they are just plain cheapskate and decided to switch to paper cups to save cost.

Root beer just don't taste that awesome without frosted mugs!

They did offer an alternative though. Buy their mug at 7.90RM and you can pour your own root beer in the mug yourselves at the comfort of your own home.

It's quite small though, I think the ones they used to serve the root beers with are much bigger. And it's not as heavy as you think it is.

One regret that we all had was the disappearance of the legendary A&W waffles! Unfortunately for us, it seems like they don't have waffles that particular week. WAIII OH WAIII!!! That means our quest are only 3/4 completed! We have not entirely conquered the mission yet!

Walked around Jusco and Kenny found a box of nostalgic chocolate biscuits. I don't think this can be found in Singapore anymore as well, and back in the old days, I think they were selling this at about 50¢? It comes with a plastic toy inside the box too.

However even after so many years, the chocolate still tastes awful. =3=

We also tried the Macdonalds' lime flavored Mac Flurry.

Looks disgusting but it's tastes alright, I kind of like the lime jelly they put in the ice cream.

Lastly, one regret that I had for that day?

I forgot to take narcissistic pictures of myself throughout the whole trip. Can't show you all how cool I am that day. Tsk.

The Ultimate Ramen Champion 2011.

"The Ultimate Ramen Champion 2011 event in Singapore is set to be the hottest battle in town ever! Watch 6 best Ramen Chefs battle it out at Iluma Bugis Level 4 to be crown the Ultimate Ramen Champion 2011!"

And so after reading up on the different ramen, we were on our way towards Iluma to try out authentic ramen by infamous names. It will be a one year contest and the final winner will be given an opportunity to open a chain in Singapore!

We were ready to take on every single ramen available but looks like 2 ramen, namely Menya Iroha and Bario were sold out! Nooossssss!!

I voted for Tetsu!

It's a kind of ramen where you dip your noodles in the gravy and eat. The method of eating is quite similar to soba but the gravy is awesome! It's thick, salty and just perfect for my preference for saltiness.

We have 6 people that day, 3 of us liked Tetsu, 3 of us like Taishoken.

We will definitely go back to try the other 2 ramen that we missed out last week. But for now, my favourite's Tetsu! Shall not comment much about the taste of each, you have to check it out yourselves. ;)

Some additional pictures from Mascot Parade about two weeks ago. I was already in Super ~~Saiyan~~ Lethargic mode because the parade's already finished and I was packing to go and have dinner so pictures taken was a bit rushed.

Kiriya Nozomi 1/8 figure by Megahouse review.

I have decided to minimize the number of pictures taken whenever I do unboxing of my figures because it is quite redundant anyway HAHAHA. Why would you want to see different angles of the box? So I'm just going to focus on the figure itself.

Introducing Kiriya Nozomi, from Mayoi Neko! Overrun.

I cosplayed Serizawa Fumino recently so the urge to unbox Nozomi was higher. In any case, I've unboxed 5 figures at one go on Sunday night and the pictures are ready whoo!

And she comes with a cat even though she's somewhat a cat herself. For this part, Megahouse is being unfair because Fumino came with two cats. Favoritism! Does that mean that in the future Chise will come with no cats because she's such an irritating character?!!

A must-have pantsu shot. No shimapan. That's okay because not all girls like shimapan. But girls with short skirts are good~! *Reeks of pervertic old man*

Don't you think that black cat on her apron looks like the one at Nyanpire?

My favourite part of this figure would be her hair. It seems to be a bit translucent which made the whole figure feel a bit more different. You know how some Touhou Project figures from Griffin Enterprises have translucent hair version or something of the same figure because they are exclusive?

This Kiriya Nozomi figure wasn't an exclusive, but it made me feel that she's expensive. 8D My God I need to stop feeling cheapskate.

No matter how I place them, they look pretty far away from each other. Megahouse should have made either smaller bases or a the kind of bases whereby you can combine them together as a set. So for pictures-taking sake, I tried this:

Looks good? But here's what I did.

Overlapping the bases together, which doesn't seem to be a very good idea because it looks pretty ugly when it's displayed in my glass shelf.

I'll see how it goes because having them standing so far away doesn't look that good either. Any good suggestions to share?

Overall, I'm satisfied with his figure since the pose are very Nozomi-like (would punch Megahouse in the face if they didn't give Nozomi her signature Nya pose though), and her hair earns point for being so awesome!

Didn't spot any painting mistakes too, overall it was a great buy!

But then again, why Nozomi only got one cat? D:

Here comes the once-in-a-while social updates!

I organised an outing to have Ippudo ramen at Mandarin Gallery last Saturday and out of the 2 times I've went, on both times we were seated at the VIP seats. Apparently you can only spend 1 hour in the room unless you spend $280 and above.

It was also last week that I got to know that Mandarin Gallery is a hotel. LIKE SERIOUSLY? I thought the only hotel in Singapore that has the word "Mandarin" in it is Meritus Mandarin hotel! When I read the comments on Facebook that made me come into self-realization I really thought I was a funny person.

Can somebody tell me why am I so funny.

If I ever go back to Ippudo then this shall be the dish that I'll order the next time.

One of the side dishes that we ordered. Actually, we ordered so many side dishes that the long tables doesn't have enough space to place all of them. No pictures for them because we can't identify a camera anymore when we see the food.

We were discussing if we can actually break $280 but we actually did!! Total bill was about $340++. =3=

Changed to TCC to talk about the skies and the grass.

That's how I spent my Saturday.

As for Sunday, for some weird reason I thought of making some curry omurice so I went out and bought some eggs since I already have a pack of curry from the Hokkaido Fair at home.

It's edible but the appearance wasn't as good. But oh well, that means my talent doesn't lie in cooking.

FYJ stands for Fukuyama Jun.

Couldn't achieve the kind of egg that usually omurice has because my pan is not entirely flat. It's somewhat like a smaller version of a wok, which is steep. Sounds like an excuse I know but I do think that the pan makes a difference too.

My omurice looks fat because I wrapped too much rice. Meh, so ugly. But it doesn't taste THAT bad ok! I can't screw up either actually. How bad can an instant curry mix, rice and egg taste you tell me.

Mascot Parade 2011 & AKB48 cafe! (2-Jul-11)

Attended Mascot Parade this year again despite having my JLPT the next day. I don't think the turnout was as good compared to last year, and the entire organization was kinda messed up? Don't think they should hold it at Orchard Central because it jams up the place.

Met with Sherry to pass her my Sheryl Nome Ichiban Kuji prize. Sheryl Nome giving away the Sheryl Nome keychain, oh the irony. HAHAHA.

Makeup was a bit different for Cosfest and Mascot Parade. And did my face seem smaller?!! It did right?!!! Heh heh heh. Maybe there weren't much difference when you see me there but in pictures, I KNOW THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

Even though if it's just 0.01%. Others cannot see nevermind, I can see can already!

Congratulations Esther, you have outdone yourself. Your efforts to think on how to create a fake illusion for a smaller face without using makeup has succeeded. Even though it would be nice if you knew some makeup tricks but yeah, I'm proud of you nonethelessly.

Before the Mascot Parade, I went to the AKB48 cafe to have my lunch. After the Mascot Parade, I went to the AKB48 cafe again. My wallet is suffering from agony, but still, the food's decent. However, I know my money can go somewhere with better food and at a lower price.

Once in a while is fine if you want to see pretty girls but don't expect to see any AKB48 members over there.

Maid cafes of course have maids right? But this AKB48 cafe don't have AKB48 members unless you consider the photos in the cafe as their presence lah.

Decided to walk home from Kovan back to Ang Mo Kio instead of taking the bus yesterday night. Amos and I started walking from Heartland Mall and I was planning to take the route Pops always takes whenever he fetches me back home from my class, but somehow we ended up back at Heartland Mall again. How magical! (・∀・＠)

I still very proud and kept telling Amos "I know the way la, trust me bro!" but in the end it was "Omfg it's Paya Lebar here. HOW. O_O"

But it's not important anymore because we did found Ang Mo Kio at the end....after walking for like more than 3 hours. I should have just listened to him and followed him instead of me leading.

Weird, I was so confident that I could get back to Ang Mo Kio though HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Cosfest X.1: Serizawa Fumino Cosplay (26-Jun-11, Day 2).

Crowd was significantly more on the 2nd day (why ah, I thought people would prefer going on Saturday instead?) and I was suffering from a bad hangover due to the alcohol I had before I boinked out.

Could you tell from the picture above? Because that's the first picture that we took after reaching Cosfest. Was struggling from a horrible headache and the urge to puke.

Not ever gonna drink before an event again. In fact, I'm keeping alcohol off-limits for the time being.

Remember that I did Iteza version on Day 1 for Sheryl Nome? Spotted another Iteza version by someone else on the 2nd day while I was doing Fumino!

And it just dawned on me that Sheryl Nome and Serizawa Fumino are very much different characters with very different personalities. Why did I even attempt both of them in the first place?

Sitting down and posing is the best because it's the time whereby you can rest your tired legs. Besides, I really sat there for a VERY long time because the photographers kept coming. Energy replenished!

Okay and so, I was approached by this caucasian reporter (?) to interview Wolverine and to get interviewed by him. It's my second time appearing on videos for cosplay events and I realised that I forgot to fake my voice AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

No wait, I have a reason! Because my voice is too masculine it spoils the image of Serizawa Fumino! And I'm not even trying to be humble by saying my voice is masculine, it really is the case when it's played in videos.

Somehow my voice turns out to be VERRYYYYY rough on phones or recorders. I am totally not kidding I have past videos to prove it. =3=

But in any case, it's too late. Must not cry over spilled milk. *Stops complaining*

When Cosfest was about to end, we went in the dome and they were announcing the winners of the Regional Cosplay Summit and the winning team goes to Korea. Eh why is it always Cloud that takes the glory, someone should cosplay Tidus and show Cloud that he is much cooler!!

Fumino unhappy on why Tidus never ever takes part in cosplay competitions.

And so after Cosfest, they do a mini parade around the shopping centre and do a mini dance (which I didn't dance of course, I am Tsundere) for a few stops before going back to Gordon's chalet to pack my stuff and go home.

Good morning! As promised, I'll be blogging about Cosfest today. Will separate into two posts for Day 1 and Day 2 so do check back if you want to see more pictures on my Serizawa Fumino.

I went to Willis' chalet for stayover on Friday night so I'd have more sleep time before attending Cosfest. Played Rock Band and we watched May'n LIVE concert on Blu-Ray DVD until dawn. Who says you can't use lightsticks even while watching a DVD?

After wasting a lot of time in the chalet rolling around, everyone is starting to get prepared.

Although Sheryl Nome's Iteza costume is quite intimidating (at least that's what I think), it's still very popular with kids!

After Cosfest Day 1, I hurriedly went back to the chalet to shower and start our night "adventure".

Swinging light sticks again because we were watching Animelo 2010 on Blu-Ray AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Our BBQ saviors outside doing the heroic sacrifices for us while we enjoy in the aircon room. Everyone came out of the room after awhile to do some work though.

I told them I haven't been drunk before, so they mixed Macallan with beer and some other stuff which I don't really remember but they called it "Submarine" I think, and let me drink it. Kenny said if you're not a regular, they don't mix it for you outside. They said that usually 1 shot of it can make you drop.

Anyway, I had a few cups and I did get drunk alright.

You know when some people are drunk, they either talk a lot of nonsense or do stupid things, or become very noisy, etc? Apparently I don't belong to such category. My type of being drunk is so boring, or at least that's what I think so myself.

When I get drunk: I'm still conscious of what I'm doing, so I won't do anything stupid. I will be just like normal as if I'm not drunk at all, but in my head, I'm already swirling around.

Not fun leh because you know, I always wanted to know what kind of nonsensical stuff I'd do when I'm high but apparently I'm still my own self when I'm tipsy.

Jeff was obviously drunk and did a lot of stupid things AHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah many of us got drunk that day.

I'm not an alcohol person and I don't like it when I get hangovers so I'm keeping alcohol off-limits for the time being.

Having hangovers while you are having an event (cosplaying), sucks bad. But nobody could tell I was literally dying and felt like crap that day, phew. ;)

Did my JLPT early this morning without studying at all (if I lied I will be single forever) and now I'm deprived of sleep. Mascot Parade was yesterday and I think it was kinda screwed up? It wasn't as organised and it seems to be a much smaller event compared to last year's.

I'll blog about Cosfest tomorrow! I know I'm so slow everyone's already done about it but I'm still not yet done uploading photos on Flickr hur hur.

If Cosfest photos not up by tomorrow evening I'll wring my own neck.

Tomorrow's Mascot Parade, which is another cosplaying event! I'll be there cosplaying back as Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. If you're coming, remember to spot me!

I'm currently trying to see how can I make my face look smaller by fraud. No luck though, but I'm going to try until I see at least 0.01% of improvement. If not, I'm not going to sleep tonight. Yes, I'M NOT SLEEPING IF I CAN'T DO IT!!

Oh by the way, I'll make sure I do a proper and two full entries (or maybe I should combine into one?) of Cosfest next week. So remember to check back! I have different photos from different photographers that day so it should be image heavy. Can't wait to upload them here.

I'll be heading over to Willis' chalet for stayover later at night as Cosfest starts tomorrow till Sunday. I'll be cosplaying for these two days too! I'm bringing my big luggage, which was the one that I brought to Japan to the chalet later. I don't even know why I have so much stuff. -__-

Will be cosplaying one character from Macross Frontier and one character from "Mayoi Neko! Overrun". Still not yet decided which day to do which character..

Wouldn't be using the Internet (I guess?) since the chalet's full of activities and games that I don't think I'd be able to sleep. :P

KMT Train trip down to Johor! (19-Jun-11)

Went to take the KMT train before it stops operating at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station by end of this month. I woke up at like what, around 5.30AM? I don't even wake up this early when I was still schooling last time.

A lot of Singaporeans are taking the last chance to ride the KMT as well. Which explains why we have to take the earliest train of the day to get to Malaysia. Turned out to be a wise decision because I find the trip duration TOO SHORT!!

Managed to get tickets still. Hiyuuuuu! (-ω- )

My first time getting on such an old train.

However, due to the popular demands, the train that we were supposed to ride on was FULL! Like everyone's already standing and squeezing inside trying to fit another human in but failed, so the conductor just signaled for the train to say goodbye.

We couldn't get on the train so we were stranded! NOOOOOZZZZZZZ!!! ｶﾞ━━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━━ﾝ!!

"OH MAI TRAIN Y U NO WAIT ME??????"

After a turn of events, we got "transferred" to the Express train instead. We have to top up an additional charge but at the end nobody came to collect the fee from us? So we got to sit an Express train while paying for the Economy train! Lucky!

HAHAHAHAHA.

The guys went fooling around in the train while taking pictures.

Too arsed to put on makeup since I have to wake up at 5.30AM. Nobody in the right mind would wake up an hour early to put on makeup. No way!

Since I was wearing my Uniqlo One Piece shirt, I thought I should bring Chopper along with me! He got excited when we saw the reservoir because he thought it was the sea. Umi da!

And halfway through the ride, I........

Slept. WALAO too tired lah I only slept for a couple of hours the night before because somehow I couldn't sleep at all!

And soon, we reached Johor!

Saw a few interesting things.

Why Singapore don't have lime flavor?!! Got nata de coco some more!!

On our way to get cabs to get to KSL Shopping Centre.

And we went to have lunch! Bak Ku Teh. Actually the entire trip we just kept eating and eating and eating and eating and eating. Even though we are full we just continued eating because they want it to be a food trip.

I didn't take pictures of all the food that we ate but a few would suffice I guess.

Our stomachs can take it but our wallets cannot. T_T

Good stuff!

Went to play their arcade for a bit as well. Not much games to play.. And most of the games are very old. They don't have new arcade machines.

Had crepe after that! But then their crepes tastes like biscuits more like crepe.. The ingredients given are also very stingy. But I wasn't expecting much also since I am paying half the price of what I am paying in Singapore.

Since I'm a cheapskate anyway AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

SHAVED ICE!!!

They kept laughing at me because whenever I take a bite, a lot of crumbs drop so in the end I made the shaved ice stall pretty messy.

After that we went to buy bubble tea and went to eat at Japanese restaurant, "Arashi".

Looks very high class but the price is quite okay!

We also went to Holiday Plaza and City Square to shop around but looks like each of us went back with some loots for themselves.

Tried to take a bus back to City Square!

Wanted to take the train back to Singapore but the train kept delaying and delaying so we decided to just take the bus back.

Oh yeah, some french toast at City Square.

After we came back to Singapore, we had Freshness Burger~

And after Freshness Burger, we went for Pasar Malam.

I'm going back to Johor again! I didn't really buy anything for myself (even if I did they're just super cheap stuff, sigh) but I want to go back again and do a shopping spree!

Oh yeah, I got a very very nice poster of Chobits at RM1 at Holiday Plaza. That's like my best buy of that day. Very pathetic ahahahahaha but no choice since Malaysia doesn't really have a lot of anime stuff. （￣～￣;）

The trip to Malaysia was surprisingly a money-sucking one. I thought I already brought more than enough ringgit to last my day there but apparently we just kept eating and eating and eating and eating and eating and eating and eating and eating.

Die man, I don't think I can fit my costume for the second day of Cosfest because the last time I tried it on, it was the RIGHT fit. If I gain perhaps 0.1cm maybe I wouldn't be able to zip it up?

Macross Frontier: Ichiban Kuji!

My lucky streak for these few days are gone! Tried two times for Ichiban Kuji this afternoon (one for myself, one on behalf of my brother) and I got G prizes for both tries. Even though my brother likes Sheryl Nome more, but he said that usually he has got more "Ranka Luck".

Sheryl Nome's version. It's quite pretty but I don't dare to hang it on my phone. I have three Gintama straps hanging right now and they're.... erm. Let's just say it's not in mint condition.

The scene where I cried when Menma wrote in her diary and showed everyone.

Just watched Episode 10 and it was heart souring as usual. It's a slow paced anime and is filled with unhappiness almost all the time, but when the touching part comes, you wouldn't be able to control your tears.

I'm glad that I still enjoyed the anime despite it being a sad story. Oh well, it's still not the end yet so maybe I can leave my tears for the last episode.

On the other hand, I've finished writing my letter! I realised it might be hard to find guys that appreciate hand-written letters anymore. I was telling Alex that I enjoy writing to Yuka-chan, and he said that I should just email her rather than waiting for so long for a letter to be sent and received. Walau! Hand-written letters and emails are different ok!

Now that I've lesser stuff to do on hand, I shall head down to KKnM tomorrow for the Macross Frontier Ichiban Kuji! I've not participated in a Kuji before (well, wanted to last year but I was too late oTL) so I'm pretty excited! Hope I get some decent Macross Frontier goodies.

And most probably on Sunday, I'll be heading to Malaysia by taking the old railway train! It's going to stay operational at Tanjong Pagar till end of this month I think, so we're taking this chance to ride it for the last time. Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

SDN48 男のロマン: I really saw their garterbelts.

Somehow I ended up watching SDN48's first overseas performance last Friday because God thought that I should release a bit of my ~~hentai side~~ stress after a hard day at work.

I went early but not as early as these fans. They were probably eagerly waiting with the hope of seeing the SDN48 members strip but I am an easily contented individual. I am happy as long as they remove their garterbelts! ( ^_^)／

Tsk. What am I saying? I mean I am happy as long as they are happy.

It says that I have won an exclusive item autographed by the members of SDN48!

But I didn't exactly win it. Oh well that thing's mine now. :P

Anyway, concert was pretty good! They have nice songs which I think sounds very similar to AKB48's rhythm and tempo. Most of them have NAISU BAAARDY too. They have female fans as well but most of them are of course, men.

I like "Yuuwaku no Garter". That's the only song that they remove something from their bodies! It's kind of like a treat to Singaporean fans because SDN48 is PG here. In Japan, their performances are only restricted to fans above 18 years old.

And they really did remove and throw the garterbelts! Yatta! Waiiii waiiii!! ＼（＾＾）／

As for my exclusive item autographed by the members of SDN48, I thought it might be a postcard or something that looks like.......

It was a refreshing experience because.... one of the SDN48 members actually touched me from my palm TILL about half of my arms and said something (I don't wanna say what it is (*ﾟ.ﾟ) embarrassing desu), and she only let go after the SDN48 member beside her asked her to.

She held my hand for like a few seconds! The people behind me got "stuck" because I was stuck in front.

The same kind of thing actually happened before, with "angela". Atsuko held my hand for very long and asked me something! I remembered Nicholas was grumbling on why the rest don't have that treatment.

Went into the AKB48 shop after the SDN48's performance last Friday and was given an AKB48 carrier because I said it looks nice. Pink leh!

During supper, the guys went for some gashapon fun and someone got a full set of Fairy Tail's keychains.

I only have Erza but it's okay, because I got THIS!!!!!1111

Anyway, I've been SOOOO busy these few days that I keep forgetting stuff. Not like it's something new since even if I'm as carefree as a bird I still forget stuff, but there's a slight difference. An unknown and invisible difference.

I'm full for this week except Thursday which I've decided to stay home and write a letter, and if I don't do it I wouldn't have time to do it anymore because I'm totally booked for the entire of next week. But I'm not complaining because you know why? I'd be busy HAVING FUN.

Sometimes I think I am too indulged in life. 8D

So okay here's the things I want to remind myself for doing:

1) Update on SDN48's concert last Friday.

2) Write a letter back to Yuka-chan and print some pictures for her to see.

3) Tell her how I've been trying to save money to go back to Japan but after months of trying my bank account is still DEPLETING instead of increasing. ∑(O_O；) WHY!!!!

4) Find the smallest luggage possible to fit all my rubbish for next weekend.

5) Open up ALL my figures.

I've counted. I have currently 35 boxes of unopened figures. And I was thinking if I were to really open them up ONE BY ONE to take pictures and review them, it'll be endless since new figures are constantly coming in.

So I thought I should stop reviewing and just post pictures of them after I opened them all up. Good idea, yes or no?

Really need suggestions since to me, it's kinda of a big sacrifice to make.

Red Carpet Gala Premiere: May'n "Phonic Nation", 6th June.

And so I've said, I won my exclusive ticket to watch Phonic Nation and the dress code was strictly formal wear, so I wore a dress for the first time!!!!11111

I mean I wore a dress for the first time with my otaku clique. HAHAHA. So must act feminine so I can cheat a lot of strangers. (￣▽￣)ノ

Somehow turned out that everyone of us got the tickets to watch Phonic Nation afterall and it was kinda weird to see some of them dressing up like a typical salaryman (goes well with sake and a tie around their head *cough*).

Red Carpet event was held at The Cathay.

The Red Carpet event started at around 6PM I think? I wasn't exactly bothered since my only focus was on May'n but still snapped a bit of pictures anyway.

Looks like they've also invited some cosplayers.

Chua En Lai as the emcee of the night. I am suddenly reminded by what Kacin reacted when the emcee asked him questions. （￣ー￣）

I think it was something like (not accurate but along those lines):

Emcee: "So what's the two Japanese movies that will be premiering later?"

Kacin: "PARADISE KISS!"

Emcee: "And?"

Kacin: "Err.. Err... Erm..."

The crowd then jeered which made him weakly spurted out a "Phonic Nation!". The funniest thing would be that he actually went there to support the movie "Phonic Nation", but when he was asked a question, he blanked out! He only remembered to say Paradise Kiss because his idol YUI is singing the song for the movie.

｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)　He is now blacklisted among the fans AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

Other than May'n that's from Japan, Aya Omasa was there to grace the event to promote the movie "Paradise Kiss".

Super know how to pose hor but too bad I can only take a picture of her sexy back.

I've watched the anime version and it was alright, I kinda liked it. I can't wait to watch the live action film when the movie comes out! Looks like YUI will be singing the theme song for the movie as well. (Refer to the infamous Kacin incident)

I wasn't standing at a good spot at the event so pardon the bad pictures.. Man I really should have just taken my brother's wide range lens that day. It was openly lying on his bed and I was tempted to just take it and get my arse out of the house.

I scared I'd spoilt it so I didn't. ｶﾞ━━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━━ﾝ!!

Galactic Fairy descended and talking to the emcee.

May'n also performed "Diamond Crevasse" and "Phonic Nation" before the Gala Premiere.

I still can't see why people are saying I look like May'n. .__.

Anyway, my movie ticket was "upsized" to a VIP one AHAHAHAHAHAHA so I was sitting very near May'n during the movie. She was watching the movie with us, in the same theater.

Was at B, she was behind, at row A. "V" stands for VIP. It's a secret on why my ticket was changed heh heh heh.

On the other hand, Phonic Nation is a 3D Documentary movie that elaborates on how May'n performed in various countries and how she got motivated to write a song to unite the world. "We are all under the same sky!"

There were a few scenes of her performance at Zepp Tokyo and since it's a 3D Documentary, it was as though May'n is performing right in front of you. And oh, I realised that the movie consists a lot about Singapore in it! I wouldn't want to spoil you guys with the details but if I am not wrong, the movie will be out on September so if you're interested, you should go catch it!

But do take note that it's a DOCUMENTARY. Highly recommended to listen to her songs before you watch, if not you wouldn't be able to feel what you are supposed to feel.

After the movie while we were on our way out of The Cathay, some of us saw the Cathay crew removing the Phonic Nation poster and they RANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN LIKE MADDDDD just to take the poster home!

..... Well, until the crew said they can't take it home because he have to return them.

At least a picture would suffice their broken hearts I guess?

It was a great night! May'n certainly did unite everybody through her songs, because that's how I got to know so many Japanese comrades! And in the near future, I'm very sure that we'll all be able to show our support for her in the same location, same passion, and the same feelings.

Will be catching SDN48 LIVE tonight at SCAPE!

Please don't confuse them with the Korean SNSD. I do not like K-Pop at all. I have so much to say about what I think about K-Pop but nah, don't wanna waste my time on it. Anyway, just pointing it out since both groups have an 'S' and a 'D' in it.

SDN48 is a Japanese idol group created based on an 'ADULT' concept. *cough* Sometimes I think I am turning more and more into a hentai.

But today's performance should be pretty PG because well, it's SINGAPORE! They have age restrictions in Japan (must be M18) but there's none here.

And I know right I've been going to so many performances and concerts and events continuously. I keep saying I want to stay at home but..but...

They are from Japan! The one standing beside me with the red towel is a hardcore fan of May'n, he had been to every single country together with May'n for her Asia Tour 2011! They have been sitting outside the concert hall since 5AM in the morning.

Our e-Amusement Pass. Looks like the one we have and the ones they produced in Japan is different. For once, I think I prefer the local version.

We already knew where our seats were, but our group was having a random draw for just the ticket to give everyone a fair chance to win May'n autographed poster or to her 3D Documentary movie: Phonic Nation. And so it was me thinking reallllyyyy hard as on which to pick!

YESSSSSSS! It's a May'n autographed poster! With my lucky A23 ticket, I managed to get chosen as one of the 50 to get her autograph. And perhaps, you can actually spot what's the similarity with May'n and I.

..... We both have braids on our right. BUT I SWEAR IT WAS A COINCIDENCE.

When I first arrived at the venue, Kacin saw me and the first thing he said was, "You reminded me of something", and he immediately showed me that picture of May'n. I was left speechless. It was after awhile that Shawn came up to me too.

Almost everyone said I was cosplaying May'n (hair length is different though), even the Japanese fans! More on that later.

Anyway, it was a day of gifts. Must be May'n give a bit of luck to the fake May'n. -__-

After that, another fan from Japan, 中村さん gave a few of us a Nana Mizuki magazine!! We suspect that's directly from Japan because if it's bought from Kinokuniya, it should have a Kinokuniya sticker at the back I think?

チェリーミントーさん passed around a notebook and we all wrote down our best wishes for May'n. And before the concert starts, we all took Purikura (neoprints) to paste in the notebook along with our best wishes!

I wished I kept one, but oh well, at least I have the soft copy.

May'n cried when she was singing Phonic Nation. I almost cried too I don't know why!! Somehow I think I can feel her efforts and hardwork, especially when her Asia Tour is ending.

It was her 6th Anniversary since her debut as well so there was a cake presented to her on stage as a surprise!

Did you see what I was holding? It was a sudden gift from a Japanese fan!

It was like after the concert ended and everyone is slowly making their way out, he suddenly come in front of me and asked me to hold the object. He then pulled something out from the plastic bag so I thought he was asking me to help him hold his plastic bag.

After we were out of the concert hall, it's time to see you've won the exclusive invitation to May'n 3D Documentary movie, "Phonic Nation"! Instead of seat numbers, this time it's the serial number of your ticket.

Since it consists of a lot of numbers, I was kinda lazy to REALLLYYY check one by one to see whether if I won.

Somehow, I thought I saw the last 4 digits of my serial number at the back! 0023! Could it be......?!!!

I checked. Looks like the number is the same! But I didn't want to express my excitement yet, would be pretty embarrassing if I get any number wrong. So I asked Alex to help me double checked it, and yes, I'VE WON THE THE TICKET FOR PHONIC NATION!!!!!!

中村ーさん! He was the one that gave us the Nana Mizuki magazine! Looks like he's a cat lover. We're separated into two tables and it was funny to hear the Japanese fans exclaiming the curry here is spicy and the milo gozilla is super sweet hahahaha!

Japanese curry are sweet, the curry here are usually spicy.

I had fun translating between my friends and the Japanese fans. There's a sense of accomplishment when they understood what I translated! I hope this will not be the last time we are seeing them again.

Phonic Nation Gala Premiere is TODAY! May'n will be there before the movie starts and it is rumored that she'll be singing a couple of songs before walking down the red carpet!

How many Japanese artistes can manage to debut her own movie and in addition, it's in 3D?! I don't know if there are others but May'n is definitely one. I'm happy to get a chance to participate in the event itself and getting an exclusive chance to watch Phonic Nation.

A trailer of the movie. There are some scenes filmed in Singapore! To May'n, Singapore is a very special place because it's the first country that she went to outside of Japan to perform.

I'll try to take some pictures at the event to share here if possible! I think the Gala Premiere is supposed to be a formal event but I'm going to wear the concert UNITE shirt to show our support to May'n. Wanted to dress formal but yeah sorta of changed my mind. HELLO EVERYONEEEEEE THIS IS MYSELF BLOGGING STRAIGHT AFTER MY AWESOME NIGHT OF MAY'N-NESS.

Well, not really. We went for supper and I've taken a shower and all so it's not immediate, but the hype is still in me so I've decided to type down my feelings to indulge in the moment!

The concert was great, it was fun swinging the light sabers (the one they use in Star Wars) and because it was so big that it's blocking the view from the concert attendees behind so we stopped using halfway through ahahahaha.

It was pretty emotional at the end of the concert and May'n cried. I felt like crying as well when I saw her tearing but I controlled so it didn't trickle down my cheeks. I don't know why I felt like crying either.

Gotten a job as a translator between the Japanese fans and my friends for a day and I gotta say it's a self-satisfying job! Even though I'm not exceptionally good at it, but it feels good when people depend on you on certain stuff.

I want to save the rest for my proper May'n Concert entry the next time so I'll cut this short, but one more thing to announce before I teleport away to throw my things off the bed and prepare to sleep:

ME WON THE INVITATION MOVIE TICKET TO MAY'N GALA PREMIERE ON MONDAY FOR THE MOVIE "PHONIC NATION"!!!!!

Went to Cash Studio with Sherry, Don and Eugene few days ago.. And it was like my first time stepping into a Karaoke Box since I was 14 years old?! That's 5 years ago! But then if you're going to count in the one that I went to in Japan.. then that's only last year.

Japanese anime songs ftw! I sang some Macross Frontier songs as Ranka's part because Sherry wants the Sheryl Nome part. Can't wait to hear the Galactic Fairy, May'n (Sheryl Nome)'s voice TOMORROW!!

Was quite surprised they even have Lady Gaga's songs because I know they tend to put in oldies (like for instance my GuitarHero consists of ZERO songs from my era) as their setlist. They have "Bad Romance", "Poker Face", "Born This Way" if I remember correctly.

I'm sticking to Paparazzi because I cannot control my urge to laugh whenever I imagine myself going "RaH rAh aH Ah aH~ Roma mA ma~" or "mUm mUm mUm mah~" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I shy *blush*.

I went to Cash Studio yesterday with Sherry, Don and Eugene to SING SONGS and I tried singing "Paparazzi" to sort of you know, prepare for my next visit. Although our main aim was to sing Japanese anime songs but about 85% of our time we were sticking to Japanese anime ones.

Reading the lyrics was a pain though. I need to practice reading Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji faster, like maybe 5 words per second?!!!

Needs to listen to some English songs!

I played Rock Band with my colleagues at Dhoby Ghaut just now and it was enjoyable! I used to have Guitar Hero at home so I sort of know how to play the guitar already, so most of the time I was the drummer. Would say that the drums are my favourite instrument!

I also tried out the vocalist part. Maybe you guys wouldn't know, but I'm a 100% Japanese songs person so I don't listen to English/Mandarin/Other Languages songs except Japanese. Naturally, I wouldn't know how to sing most of the songs.

I'm trying to learn some for the sake of playing the vocalist part next time. So I'm digging English songs on Youtube now.

Makise Kurisu Nendoroid (regular) Review.

"Skipping a grade at 18 and graduating early from university, Kurisu is working as a Neurological Researcher at Victor Condoria University when the game takes place. Not only superbly skilled, she is also a superb tsundere heroine." (taken from a part of her description somewhere on the Internet)

To me, Kurisu doesn't pass as my definition of Tsundere. Amai! Mada amai! She needs more practice!

But I didn't play the game though so I'm just referencing from the anime series. Perhaps she is a major TSSUUUUUNNNNN in the game. Not sure, gotta ask.

Before I begin, I would like to apologize because the following pictures of the nendoroid are not well taken. Mainly because I don't usually take pictures at night (hate the lighting) so my spirits wasn't that motivated. To put in simply, it's a half arsed job.

I'll try to make time for the next one. Planning to open a PVC figure. ;)

Not much poses you can do I guess, it's a pretty simple nendoroid.

Anyway, one thing I don't get about this character is that why is the animated Makise Kurisutina's (lol sorry can't help it) eyes look so different from the game? I don't think the nendoroid's eyes are similar to the series at all.

Hmmm, I just opened up my Makise Kurisu nendoroid yesterday night to take pictures but it's kinda half arsedly done. I usually do "photoshoots" in the afternoon when it's all bright and cheery so when I do it at night, it felt as if something's not right.

I didn't like the lighting. But oh well, the nendoroid is pretty plain so there's nothing that I wanna focus on anyway. Will try to do a better job for my other figures. I'll try to upload the pictures tonight on Flickr so I can blog about them as soon as possible.

Oh by the way, I realised the Makise Kurisu in the anime looks different from other designs. Not to my liking that is.

Trip down for hairdye session; Which version do you prefer?

Am on a conquest to find a salon that can give me the lightest colour possible without bleaching. My previous salon gave me this shade as the lightest I can go. The name of the colour should be Medium Intensive Blonde.

Looks more like brown and red though. Under certain lighting (for instance, my handphone's camera flash) it really reflects blonde. But I guess under normal sunlight it's just reddish brown.

Ugly desu, should have touched it up long time ago. But it suddenly struck me that maybe I should try other salons for a colour closer to blonde? Which explains my conquest.

I combined two of my hair colours (before and after) at the end of this entry so perhaps you can tell me which version do you prefer.

Mediacorp actor Shaun Chen was like sitting right beside me and I didn't even realise it until I heard the stylist asking him "So what is your role like for the drama series you're filming now?"

Anyway, the results after a few hours at the salon! My stylist curled my hair for me at the end of the session. I... still don't think I suit curling. I look old. D:

Teppanyaki! It was my first time eating Teppanyaki. Like sitting around in circles while the Teppanyaki master show off his skills right in front of you. Was a bit afraid the oil might splatter onto my face and disfigure me or something.

I forgot if I mentioned this on my blog before (I definitely did on Twitter and Facebook though), but there was once I was supposed to go to Jurong Point to watch a movie with my friends on April Fools'. Since it's called JURONG Point, I thought it'll be near Jurong East MRT so I was on my way to Jurong East.

Then a phone call came and the conversation was somewhat like:

Kacin: "Where are you?"
Me: "On the way to Jurong East. Later meet where?"
Kacin: "You drop off at Jurong East and wait for me at the place towards Joo Koon."
Me: "HUH? JOO KOON? Go there for what?"
Kacin: "We going Jurong Point what, Jurong Point is at Boon Lay!"
Me: "Don't bluff me ok. I know today is April Fools' Day."
Kacin: "I never bluff you! It's really at Boon Lay! Don't believe you ask the rest."
Me: ......... "REALLY????"
Kacin: "Thank God Desmond asked me to call you! He scared you lost! HE WAS RIGHT!!"

So at first, I asked Yaoting. He also said it was at Boon Lay. I still don't believe so I asked on Twitter and Facebook. It was then I got to know Jurong is a VERY big place. Boon Lay is also part of Jurong. =w=

The commuters on the train must have thought I was an idiot.

Okay sorry I know I very long winded but ANYWAY, this time before going to Tampines 1, I asked on Twitter if Tampines 1 is REALLY AT TAMPINES. If not things like "Oh, Pasir Ris is also part of Tampines" thing come out I sure flip table already.

My friends even gave me instructions on how to go there even though the shopping centre is just RIGHT beside the MRT station. He told me to turn RIGHT when I alight, but somehow I turned LEFT. Went to the wrong shopping centre (Tampines Mall).

I went up the escalators to find the salon, couldn't find it.
I went down the escalators to find the salon, couldn't find it.
Called Yaoting to gave me the unit number of the salon, he said it's on the 5th floor.
Went up again, stopped at 4th floor. THERE'S NO 5TH FLOOR!!
Rushed to the Customer Service Reception.

Went home and took pictures of my own hair AGAIN. It looks like ash grey in reality but my stylist told me it's not ash, it's like matt colour so I don't know.

And, I don't know the shade of my hair colour because my stylist mixed it for me. :P

Okay! So which one is nicer? Must choose at least one. I pay so much money to dye my hair then you come and tell me both not nice???????

I asked the same question on Facebook and majority of them voted for my new hair colour. I like it a lot too! Can't stop staring at it.

Paternal annual BBQ (Vesak Day).

Location was at Yishun Safra, and even though I've been there for a few times I still don't know how to get there. Pops, being the usual him, was very sure I'll get lost so he asked me to just get a cab instead. Most of the time it's something like:

Pops: "Where are you?"

Me: "At home, going out soon."

Pops: "Meeting where?"

Me: "Yishun Safra."

Pops: "You know how to go meh? You meeting your friends or not?"

Me: "I reach Yishun already then worry. Going alone."

Pops: "You will get lost lah. Go take cab ok? I pay."

I can't decide if he is trying to spoil me or he thinks I'm just plain stupid to get there. =_= I don't wanna turn into those people that wastes most of their money on cabs, especially those that complains that they're poor because they spent almost everything on travelling.

A lot of food desu, my ulcer grew bigger as a result. I must thank the chicken wings and the satays because they played a big part into making my life miserable. I've been applying Bonjela on my ulcer everyday for at least 5 times but it didn't get smaller.

Okay to be honest I don't know why but my paternal relatives have been calling me "Yingying" (direct pronouciation means "hard hard") since I was young even though my full name doesn't even have a "Ying" inside.

On my maternal side, my grandmother calls one of my female cousins "Guitar" even though her name is like.. not musically related. But for your reference, my cousin's name is Krystal. I think the older generation have a unique way of interpreting our names. Maybe I should suggest to my grandmother to call me "Bass" instead. (Y)

Cousins. One of my cousins, the one in red, looks like Amos! I told Amos himself a few years ago that I have one cousin that look like him and I showed him his picture yesterday. Oh wait, before that, I showed Yiuliang first.

I went to search for one picture of my cousin and I told Yiuliang to tell me the first person he thought of when he saw the picture. He was like, "Amos. LOL"

Halfway through the BBQ, it rained! So we sought shelter at the lobby.

But the rain stopped afterwards so we continued the BBQ upstairs. A bit off topic but I can't wait to show Kah Hao the picture and ask if he can see the resemblance. Waku waku!

I went for the BBQ feeling awkward because from my family, I was the only representative and before that, I don't really talk to my cousins (I am otaku desu so topic-wise confirm is like heaven and earth) but I'm quite glad it turned out alright.

Although most of my relatives (except my cousins) speaks hokkien and I can't understand, but when they praise me I understand. JIN SWEE!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Some of the replies I got are so funny! It's my way of differentiating the colours between Yellow and Marigold and they are making a joke out of it. And of course, I was most intrigued by the answers of the first impressions I gave my friends through the second question.

I stated clearly on my profile page that I will not accept silent friend requests because I wouldn't know why you added me, and I don't want strangers on my friend list. I want people whom I can interact with instead. What's the point of adding when you won't talk to me and I won't talk to you? Right?

AKB48 Official Shop Opening, Singapore.

Went to take a peek at the AKB48 Official Shop Opening at SCAPE on Saturday. Am not an avid AKB48 fan so I didn't queue to buy any merchandises. Not worth my time considering that the shop's gonna stay in Singapore permanently anyway, it's not as if it's here "for only a limited period".

Although having said that, I still won't buy anything. I have better things that I wanna spend my money on.

Was standing at the front part of the queue. Most of the very free people you see in the pictures are majority guys, but they have fan girls too.

We were there at around 1PM plus. Skipped the queue and took a look at the shop's exterior while Shawn was getting interviewed.

Didn't stay there for long. Went to meet Alexander at ION and we went to have Yakisoba and Takoyaki hehehehehe.

Tasty and yummy looking Yakisoba and Takoyaki! I am impressed with self because I think I did a good job at capturing these shots.

Somehow Jeff seemed to fall in love with the Yakisoba there and he just texted me saying I am awesome because I kept saying I want to have that for lunch that day, and that's how he got to know such fantastic Yakisoba existed. He just went to have it himself or with his group of friends I think.

But he keeps on calling it "fried noodles". Welllll IT IS fried noodles to a certain extent but is it that hard to call it Yakisoba. =_=

It was my first time reaching home so freaking early before 7PM on a SATURDAY. Then I suddenly received Kah Hao's SMS to night cycle and I agreed! But the rental shop closed so we ended up doing something else while meeting with Yi Joe and Amos at the end.

This was the AmiAmi package that arrived few days ago! I think I mentioned this before but I was pretty lucky because even though I opted for registered SAL, it was shipped the EMS speed.

I was thinking perhaps lesser people are posting out packages recently because I ordered something from Ebay few days ago, and the expected timing for the package to come was 15-30 days (chose the slowest), but it came 3 days later!

Watching Mitsudomoe OVA now!

After that I'll continue with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt which I think I can finish it today I guess. Then I'll start on watching MAI Otome. Yes yes I've watched MAI Hime but didn't continue to MAI Otome.

I said I would list EVERYTHING that I am watching now the last time, but I changed my mind. I'll just the list the ones that I am chasing for the season Fall. Most of them are about halfway through at Episode 5 or 6, some already sprung to Episode 10 like Moshidora!

Ratings and opinions for the anime are solely based on mine and mine alone. Don't expect me to have similar tastes as you guys for some.

Here goes:

1) Steins;Gate

Hmmm, it was a highly sought anime for those gamers that have played the game. To me, it didn't exactly catch my interest for their first 2-3 episodes. Didn't like the fact Mayuri keeps on appearing (because she is Kana Hanazawa *biased*). I'm quite curious about the John Titor person though, apparently it's real and he has a Wikipedia page talking about it.

If you like Steins;Gate you should go take a look here. He claims to be a time traveler coming from Year 2036.

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Still neutral about this anime. No likes and dislikes. Will need more episodes to judge, but Makise Kurisu was a bit different from what I expected her to be.

2) Softenni

Just as the name suggests, it's an comedy anime that talks about the girls' soft tennis trainings and encounters that revolves around their male coach. I like Kotone, the one with brown hair! It's another no-brainer anime with no plot or whatsoever but still fairly entertaining.

Would say I like it.

Rating: ★★★☆☆

I like the previous episode whereby the team goes on a trip to buy their tennis equipments, and the one when they're stuck in school and got to use the SUPER LUXURIOUS onsen treatment hidden facility for teachers.

3) Tiger & Bunny

When I first watched the first episode of this anime, I feel like dropping the anime already. But no, my policy that I've set for myself SAYS NO!

I dislike the fact that it's very Marvel-like, but one interesting concept is that every "Marvel" like heroes, they have a brand endorsed on their armor. Like BANDAI, SoftBank, Pepsi, etc. Those heroes are sponsored by their respective companies to earn points while doing good deeds or something in their city.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Was contemplating to give 1 or 2 stars for it but I'm settling for just 1 star. Realised that there wasn't any episode that got me really engrossed with the show. Illustrations isn't my type too. Oh well.

4) Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san

One word.

FUNNNNEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~

The demons are not the ones we usually see in anime that are big and scary, this time round they look like plushies. Azazel-san uses Kansai accent and I love Kansai accent hahahahahaha! This anime is damn funny you should watch it if you haven't.

Rating: ★★★★☆

Sad that it's only around 13 minutes per episode. Y U NOT FULL EPISODE WAN?

5) Toriko

Toriko rose to fame because before the series started, it did an hour special episode with One Piece. At first I thought it was because Toriko is by Oda-sensei too because the introduction title every week is using the same as One Piece's but it's not.

Honest opinion from me, I don't think the anime is THAT awesome. It's because it was given a good start by collaborating with One Piece that's why it caught a lot of people's attention. The series itself is not bad, quite refreshing and focus on Toriko's hunt for delicacies and ingredients for this full course meal, but still not "powerful" enough.

And his special move very lame. The fork and knife one.

Rating: ★★★☆☆

But still, too early to judge. Nowadays it's hard to find an anime with a feasible plot so it's still worth waiting.

6) Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai

Seriously ah, can anybody tell me what this anime is talking about.

It's too random and changes scenes and characters without notice. Every week they will introduce new characters but what's the use of introducing them when you don't ever see them again?!?!!

Illustrations and character designs are pretty good (my type) but the audience must know what the anime is trying to talk about!!!!!!!!

I'm not alone, people on my Twitter list are also confused at this anime. Too random, and things doesn't connect.

7) Sket Dance

LIKE!

The one that wears glasses is Switch, voiced by Tomokazu Sugita!

It's about this club that accepts requests asking for help or to solve their problems. But as you can see, it's a comedy. Comedies can't go wrong. :D

The episode that was about the girl from the manga drawing club was extremely hilarious HAHAHAHAHA. Shoujo mode!! *Sparkly eyes*

8) Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi

-_- You must be thinking why I chose to watch this when I dislike Boys Love.

Well, the reason is very simple desu. And the reason is something I've been repeating over and over again until I am actually quite sick of saying. But for the sake of clarification, I must once again, say it again!

Reason: My aim is to watch every single anime title that came out this Fall.

Yeap, that simple. Anyway even though I dislike Boys Love, I would say so far the storyline has been progressing smoothly. The comedic part is quite alright too, although sometimes the guys would just suddenly kiss, leaving me in.... SHOCK.

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Must be fair. Don't like the genre but it's not a bad anime.

9) Sengoku Otome: Momoiro Paradox

Didn't really thought Sengoku Otome would be one of my favourites this season since I thought it's just going to be another Samurai story but I kinda like the twist! Hideyoshi is a normal teenager in the modern world whereby one day, she was sucked into another dimension and found herself meeting Nobunaga and Mitsuhide, whom she read about in her textbooks in school.

Just that instead of them being males, all of the people that she met there are females.

Rating: ★★★★☆

On a side note, having a good OP and ED is very essential for an anime. It was the OP that caught my attention at first.

10) Moshidora

The latest two episodes were so depressing!!!!!!! *blows nose*

To be honest I can't exactly feel the tension when the guys play the baseball, like perhaps the climax is maybe whether the pitcher can get strikes or something like that to win, but I can't anxious enough.

I don't know how baseball works so I am just watching their matches with 0 knowledge of baseball. The only thing I know is that Home-Run means WIN!

It's a good anime. It will be adapted into a live action film which I already posted details about it few days ago.

11) Maria Holic: Alive

I was looking forward to this anime because I loved the first season but somehow, the second season didn't manage to crack me up as much. It's focusing too much on the side characters now, I'd prefer it if they switch it back to Mariya.

I am still hopeful the anime will pick itself up.

12) Nichijou

Another no-brainer but relaxing anime. It's these anime that you find yourself really stoning with the characters. Selamat Pagi!

I heard that on Sankaku Complex, Nichijou tops the list with the "Most Disappointing Series" for this season. Not sure if it's true because I am lazy to go check Sankaku Complex out. To me it's quite alright what, not that bad compared to Tiger & Bunny. In fact it's pretty funny.

But the kind of funny is like the kind that you wouldn't LOL or even smile. You'll just go "Oh this is quite funny" in your brain. At least that's for me. :S

13) Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai II

Keima's figure of speech and the way he expresses himself in a solemn manner is soooo cooooool!! KAMI NII-SAMA!! I would totally be attracted to him if he's a real person.

Season 2 would be awesome with more soul catchers like Elsie and Haqua.

I hope there will be Season 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 since the latest episode says that there are still 60,000 loose souls out there. I ish waiting!

14) Hyougemono

The contents too difficult for my brain to process.

15) Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi

Love the illustrations!

It's about romance and harem just in case it doesn't look very obvious to you. The story is quite appealing and you get an accidental kissu scene right on the first episode HAHAHAHA. But it's nice!

16) Hen Zemi

Kana Hanazawa. -_-

I don't really like this one because it doesn't have enough factors to catch my attention. It's more of a "I-won't-even-discuss-this-anime-with-my-friends-and-I-would-probably-just-forget-about-it-after-this-series-ends".

Sorry, not my type. However, the last episode was quite alright.

17) Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Hakairoku Hen

An anime about gambling.

It's a good watch, suitable for all ages I guess. Makes you think a lot too, and if I am not wrong Kaiji was adapted into a live action film a couple of years ago. Wanted to watch it but didn't manage to.

I don't get the Sawa Sawa~~~ thing and the lady's appearance after every episode.

18) Hidan no Aria

OP sung by May'n. No need to watch the anime already, the anime itself confirm is WIN!

And you don't have to watch the anime to know it's Rie Kugimiya that voiced Aria. I think look at the picture itself very easy to guess liao. Anyway, it's quite good too! It's strange to think that nowadays anime likes to anyhow acknowledge Sherlock Holmes as their ancestors.

First was Milky Holmes, now is Hidan no Aria.

I would recommend this if like those "Urusai urusai urusai!" thingy.

19) Hana-saku Iroha

A very light-hearted anime. Got a feeling it will turn out to be very heart warming as well. It's either you like it or you don't.

This anime was a disappointment to me.

I thought it would be quite flashy and considering that the manga series was quite old and very long ago, this should be an epic show but to me Enma-kun doesn't look/feel/act/show me that he's very strong at all. =3=

21) Dog Days

Firstly, I think the anime should change it's title. Dog Days sounds so.. I think maybe even "The Legendary Dogs" might sound better?

Nana Mizuki sung the OP, it was a plus point, but storyline, not so.

And the main protaganist's name is Shinku. That's a big difference from the only Shinku we know *cough* Rozen Maiden *cough*.

22) Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko

The first thing when I first saw the characters? Mako-kun looks like Mikado Ryuugamine from Durarara! and Meme looks like Kawashima from Toradora! The OP sucked but I like how Mako-kun rebukes Erio with his phrases. My type of humor.

At first Erio thinks she's an alien, but now she's trying to accept the fact that she's not. But I see her hair keep flowing in the air with sparkles all around I don't know if it's animation effect or she really is an alien lor LOL.

23) Deadman Wonderland

I don't like Shiro because she is Kana Hanazawa. Heh, I irritated you didn't I. :P

An OK series I guess, Ganta is searching for the Red Man that massacred all his classmates that pushed the blame on him. I know who is the Red Man (I love spoilers that's why)~~

Interesting concept desu! But still a bit confusing for me because it talks about dealing at the other dimension with stocks and stuff to get a lot of money in their own world. But you have to fight and win.

MY TOP CHOICE FOR THIS FALL. AO NO EXORCIST!!

3) The ED song is awesome
4) The storyline is very appealing
5) Somehow Rin reminds me of Touma

Rating: ★★★★★ FULL MARKS DA!! For this season that is.

Although Kana Hanazawa is inside too but since my Fukuyama Jun is in too, it kinda balanced it off. So I'm okay with it! Ao no Exorcist is a series you CANNOT miss.

27) Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai

It's supposed to be a sad story. Like how all the childhood friends split up after one of them, Menma died. Only Jintan can see her spirit and how Menma wishes for everyone to be together again.

Will bring your mood down a little while watching, but it's not something that depressing.

I hope the rest will be able to see Menma's spirit soon.

28) A Channel

If you liked K-ON!, then I think you'll like this anime too. Run-chan is like Yui, Yuuko is like Mio I think? Just like any slice of life + school days genre.

Back to what I wanted to address at first, it was the Singapore General Elections yesterday, and it's held every 5 years. I am someone that has no interest in politics or anything serious, but yesterday I was pretty much glued to the streaming online (lazy to switch off my computer and watch it on TV) till the end of the broadcast.

My friends were very shocked that I am actually interested in the General Elections. I am shocked at myself too, and since I'm not yet 21 so I can't vote, I can only watch.

Most of my friends are supporters of Opposition parties, like The Workers' Party. But for me, I'm leaning towards PAP. Don't ask me why even though I don't think I am mature enough to dabble and worry about the rising HDB prices, the higher costs of living, etc, but I just don't like how the supporters of the Opposition parties behave online.

IN MY OPINION, I think they're very aggressive. You want to support Opposition? It's your decision. You want to vote for them? Go ahead. But why must you criticize at everything the PAP does and even those that supports PAP?

Like going, "Sure vote for PAP, just don't regret when you have no money to pay for blah blah blah blah blah" or "PAP is so pathetic to resort to such tactics" or even worst, someone actually posted a status like this on my friend's FB:

"Hope all those PAP loyal old people faster die"

WHY ARE YOU SO SCARED OF PAP SUPPORTERS? You should be confident of the party that you are supporting since PAP is so lousy and there should be no problem winning, right? Is there even a valid reason to curse people?? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU????

To be honest I didn't even see any PAP supporters talking bad about Oppositions. The one that made that comment above really showed us how cultured he/she is. Oh well, there're always black sheeps among the good ones.

Voters job: To decide which party holds the best interests for Singaporeans. Cast your vote. Wait for results.

Was it THAT difficult? SERIOUSLY? Why you nothing to do wanna pick fight??

And with regards to one of the PAP members Tin Pei Ling of Marine Parade GRC, I understand that there are A LOT of people that are against her going into Parliament due to factors of her being the youngest and her Kate Spade joke.

But please, why are you focusing on Tin Pei Ling when there's Goh Chok Tong in the party too? See the good, not the bad. Besides, she haven't prove herself have she? Don't condemn her just because she took a photo of herself posing of her Kate Spade loot lah although I would say it's quite inappropriate to post that online, but it's the capabilities that's more important, am I wrong?

If she can't perform, then you can take her out of Parliament on the next round of elections. You guys ARE the voters. You call the shots. I believe PAP won Marine Parade because the netizens there believes in Goh Chok Tong. He's a good man.

I know the things I said now might sound ignorant or stupid but that's what I really felt yesterday. Don't be so crude in your comments. It's okay to voice out your unhappiness but for the past few days, I didn't like what I saw. Which was why from a mind-my-own-business me, I kinda took sides.

I wasn't happy when Workers' Party won Aljunied, because George Yeo from PAP (and our Foreign Minister) had been a very good leader and we all know that. But it's also due to his loss, we will lose a Foreign Minister. It's a rule that they can't be a member of the Cabinet/Parliament anymore if they lost. But it's not up to me to comment on the results.

However, he's having a very strong rapport from us Singaporeans to be voted for Presidency right now so I hope he will contest for that next!

Since everything's decided and a new Singapore is on it's way, I hope Singaporeans will just embrace the future and stop dwelling on the results.

As for my area, I live in Ang Mo Kio so my area will be governed by Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. The next election whereby I have the rights to vote would be when I'm 24 years old.

Who knows, I might be siding the Oppositions when I'm older. But for now, accept the results and put your trust on the elected leaders for your areas.

Is Moshidora live action film your cup of tea?

I was watching Moshidora episode 9 this morning and it was soooo depressing! Emotions took over me for a few scenes and I cried a little. Totally didn't expect it. I thought the twist between Minami and Yuki would be them falling out with each other but nooooooo, something worst happened.

No spoilers for you, you have to watch it yourself. :(

Anyway while I was googling Moshidora, I found out that a live action film for Moshidora will be out this coming July. Apparently it's starring Maeda Atsuko and Minegishi Minami from AKB48. Trailer below:

It is not on mine though, my impression of live action films are quite bad because I think they always spoil the essence of the anime/manga. But I know some of you will still watch it because there are AKB members in it.

God of DSLR, you no like me?

Life is so dull and empty without my DSLR with me.

I didn't make a big fuss about it like usual in the cyberworld when it spoilt a few weeks ago because I was really sick of it. Sick of stressing over things that doesn't happen to people. Which idiot spoils the DSLR once every month? I bet the repair centre wants to disown me as a customer deep down in their hearts. It's like "WAI U COME BACK AGAIN?!"

It's always the same stupid error that happened. Even if I don't touch the DSLR it'll miraculously malfuction through oxygen or the invisible air waves in my room or something.

Another stressing problem I have is my phone. Wanted to get an iPhone 5, it failed me and chose to only start production in September, so by the time it reaches consumers' hands it'll be already end of this year or early 2012. So planning to get an iPhone 4, I failed it because my AMIAMI package is on the way here so I don't have anymore spare savings.

It was reformatted and it works better now but it still restarts itself or hang. So far it's once a day. The last time it's twice a day. Still an improvement.

I'm not that concerned about my phone as compared to my DSLR because my DSLR is very important to me. I treat it like a king lor I really don't know why it always want to make me heart attack or going for an attempt to burst my vessels.

I can't even take pictures of the figures that I want to review on, can't take pictures of the ones I've collected recently, or going to collect soon, and most likely maybe I can't even take first hand pictures of my AMIAMI package when it arrives!!

Why like Boys Love when Fairy Tail got better characters?

Was watching "Fairy Tail: Youkoso Fairy Hills!" yesterday and there was a short scene that featured Hibiki! And then I was like OH YEAHHHHH HIBIKI NONG TIME NO SEE YOUUUUUU!!

Not only Fairy Tail has a superb storyline, but it also have a lot of ikemen (good looking men) like Gray-sama, Jellal, Mystogan, Hibiki, Loki and etc! The listed one are my favourites, although Mystogan can't really be counted because he has the same face as Jellal.

Still handsome anyways.

I'm just being random today because I was suddenly reminded of the infatuation with Hibiki the last time when he first appeared on the show (I've found the love back again ♥♥♥) because he was so cool and awesome.

And handsome LOL superficial me. >:D

People should start watching Fairy Tail instead of drooling over Boys Love anime. I still can't see how "KYAAA!!" it is when you see two guys hugging each other romantically and kissing. It's freaking disgusting and abnormal, I can't believe I'm one of the minority that hates Boys Love among girls. And the characters in it are not even good enough compared to Fairy Tail's HAHAHAHA.

Oh, I also realised that so far all the people/characters that I know that has a 'Hibiki' in their names are ikemen. Why? Is there a secret to their looks?!! Just like how all the 'Fukuyama'(s) I know are all so talented?!!

May'n ASIA TOUR 2011: UNITE!!

A new destination was added to May'n Asia Tour. Yes, it's Singapore!

May'n has been actively participating in Singapore's Anime Festival Asia since 2008 singing songs from Macross Frontier as her voice of Sheryl Nome. Adding a new performance here really makes us feel warmth because it kinda felt like she didn't forget us!

It's not very ideal to be holding her concert in Singapore in my opinion because of the limited equipment needed for special effects or climax encore. I think it might be a a waste of resources as I remember hearing a fellow May'n fan saying it's not worth it for her to come to Singapore due to various reasons.

But she's coming and that's all that matters!! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

I'll be attending her concert of course, you'll definitely see me there. If you're interested or is also a fan of Macross Frontier/May'n herself, look out for the ticketing information that will be released.

By the way, she's a full fledged J-Pop singer, so she don't just sing songs for anime titles. So far I've only listened to about 20 songs of hers and they are all for anime. AHHHHHH I really need to get my friends to send me her J-Pop ones just to be fully prepared.

They told me they think she would focus on her mainstream songs instead. But still, I wish she would sing most of her Macross Frontier songs!

This is a song that's currently in my brain's favourite list from my Jubeat collection! Every time I hit the arcades, I'll go play Jubeat. Anyway, the rhythm is very catchy and remember pay attention at 0.25! The rhythm will change pace and become faster and makes it really fun!!

The special part for this song is that it's already 11 years old! This song was released and sung by a Japanese girl group named Whiteberry in year 2000.

Some pro at it challenging the Extreme Mode and getting Full Combo + Excellent.

I first saw the machine when I was in one of the Akihabara's arcade in Japan last year and heard the guy playing the song "Share the World" by One Piece. It looks interesting but I didn't dare to try because it looks difficult and am scared that I'll embarrass myself there.

I was like "One Piece!!! KYAAA!!!!!! But I don't know how to play. -_-"

Here's how a Jubeat machine looks like just in case you're not a arcade person. I'm quite sure anyone would have seen this before though. I have friends that keeps away from arcades but whenever I asked them if they know about something called Jubeat, they'll be like "Oh, is it the one with 9 buttons like a square?"

It's a square alright but IT HAS 16 BUTTONS!! Why so many people thinks there are just 9? I have different friends from different cliques describing Jubeat as a machine with 9 buttons.

Go try playing it someday if you haven't! I'm sure you'll like it!

What completed anime series should I watch next?!

Just finished watching Elfen Lied (13 episodes + 1 extra).

A lot of good reviews were given and it's known to be gross and notorious. But to me it's just average, it's not as gross as I thought. I know someone that's more gross than this anime *wiggles eyebrows*.

Not only do I follow each season's new anime titles, but I also constantly try to find completed series to watch in my spare time when I've finished watching those new titles that were broadcasted and uploaded on the net.

And so I've finished Elfen Lied, my next choice would be:

To Aru Majutsu no Index Season 2

Finally it's over. I've been waiting for the series to be fully broadcasted because I don't want to watch it half-assedly, Actually, I'm very fickle. For example I said I'll watch "XXX" after this anime, but after finish watching it, I feel like starting on "ZZZ" before "XXX".

So instead of starting on To Aru Majutsu no Index Season 2, I feel like starting on a series which I initially have no intention of watching but now I felt like it because I kind of like one of it's songs. Not sure if it's the Opening or Ending song though.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

To be more precise, I DID watch this anime before, like for a few seconds or something. When it was first available on the net, I clicked on the title but the player was Megavideo or 4shared which is seriously irritating so I sort of "gave up".

Then once other players were available, I watched the anime and realised the illustrations are so similar to Powerpuff Girls' that it's criminal! WHAAAAT?? Why like that!!!!!

I am someone that's pretty biased against US cartoons style/production when it comes to anime so I decided to give this anime up. But since a lot of cosplayers are cosplaying them and apparently this anime is quite popular, I thought I should give it a try. It's just a 12 episodes long title anyway.

Oh but just to clarify, I have no discrimination against US works. But I'm not a supporter of Marvel. Which means I am totally against the idea of having Ironman, X-Men, Wolverine, etc to be released as an anime.

I've watched Ironman (known as Tetsu no Otoko) and regretted. =_=

So yeah, I don't know which one to start! I know it's quite a trival problem but to me it weighs a lot because I am dedicating my time into my busy schedule to fit this anime in. For one reason or another, this season's anime titles is broadcasted at a rapid rate like it's production budget is unlimited.

I can feel the pressure! Well due to my own stupid policy.

I gave myself a rule, which is to watch an anime title within 3 days after it is being available on the net. If I don't, I am a failure. Usually I try to complete them within 2 days but it's not that easy as I've got other issues to settle in life. My work, my Japanese lessons, my social life, my nap time and the list goes on.

So far I'm not a failure yet. :P

ANYWAY, what should I watch?!

Fate Testarossa's location?

Few months back, I posted a short entry with regards to my anticipation onto receiving this Fate Testarossa Harlaown version, 1/7 scale by Alter. If I am not wrong, it was released in January this year and it's already going to be May, but it's still not on it's way into diving into my passionate arms.

Why?

Reason: I finally decided to ask my previous toy retailer that I bought the figure from, and I was told that my Harlaown Fate swam in the tsunami during March last month during the natural disaster that happened in Japan.

I wonder which part of Japan did it finally rested in peace. Oh well.. Guess I'll just have to keep waiting for another set to come.

Sakura Festival @ Singapore Flyer (22-Apr-11)

Went to join in the fun last Friday for Sakura Fest! I thought it would be a event comparable to Natsu Matsuri but I was so wrong. It's so freaking small! There's less than 10 stalls there if I am not wrong.

My expenses at the Sakura Fest was sponsored so I didn't have to fork out a single cent. I should have like two bowls of ramen, two bowls of oden, five sticks of popsicles and get my fortune told at least ten times.

There's beer too, but I heard it was just mediocre.

To my disappointment, the oden wasn't nice at all! I think Mom cooks better daikon than the one I had last Friday. I had oden at Natsu Matsuri last year and it was so good it's almost too good to be true. It was as awesome as me. T.T

Had Keisuke ramen as well. We were the first customers for the day so the temperature, the texture of the ramen and the essence of the soup was definitely up to standard. It was the best timing to slurp it.

And I tried the finally awaited fortune telling! Although it says Tarot Card reading, it's actually Oracle readings but I think they are about the same, just that different type of cards are used.

Final conclusion: I think it's pretty accurate! It's like $20 for twenty minutes.

Went to the arcade and got belated birthday presents, arigatou!

Was given a One Piece watch and a Black Rock Shooter (Dead Master)'s headphones. That's definitely going to help me save money when my headphones spoils. Currently I have 3 pairs on standby just in case the one I am using now dies on me.

I am fully prepared. I FEAR NOTHING!

Oh yeah, I actually went back to Sakura Fest on their last day and caught the performance of Sunao and Risuko. They were cosplaying as Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome, sang a few Macross Frontier songs like Triangular (Fight on Stage) and Lion.

Can somebody tell me why Japanese have small faces? The moment I think about it I feel so upset. D:

Jang jang jang jang! Shall start off with a picture with my hot blood red chair!

Personally, I like my chair a lot because I hand picked this colour out of the many (like black, grey, blue, orange, green, purple, etc) available.

Know why? Because I am attention seeking. Die also want to choose an eye-catching colour, if not I think I might be seriously depressed as I did not get showered with attention and will rot at a corner.

Whatever I do is attention seeking including how I talk, how I eat, how I move my hands, how I sleep, how I bathe, how I drink, how I walk, and the list goes on. Even as I type this I'm also dying for your attention to finish reading everything. Really. ^^

This is what I see when I come to work everyday. These are what kept me motivated to do my work properly and with humility! *eyes sparkles* My colleagues are the type that likes to walk around but I'm the opposite, I like to stick my arse there and do my things.

If only I have more of those posters/leaflets then I can spam on the cubicle without leaving a single trace of space.

The table is about twice the size the one I was using when I was in my previous office. My current office is newly built so everything smells like cement right now. I like the smell though, I find it quite refreshing for some reason.

The pantry. The fridge, the microwave and some other stuff are not here yet. I want the fridge to be in soon so I can bring puddings or ice cream to stock up there! And most importantly, I want to drink my milk tea chilled.

Two toilets and the one with the opened door is a storeroom.

Ore-sama needs two trash bin because I snack too much.

An overview.

Oh yeah, I still have some pictures to clear. It was taken about 2-3 weeks back on June's last day as a part-timer there, and she gave each of us a gift! The chinese fortune teller was right, I am really being showered by gifts recently.

Though mainly it's because my birthday was about 1 week ago but other than that I still get stuff from people. How come you guys suddenly so nice to me?! *shifty eyes*

There was a note attached. Somehow I give off the vibe that I really want a Japanese boyfriend a lot. I think out of the many cards and notes I received, almost every single one ends off with a "Hope you'll find your Japanese boyfriend soon!" or somewhere along those lines.

A Ciel Phantomhive plushie! Nicholas was trying to catch it via the UFO Catcher on Friday night but couldn't get it, and I was surprised to get it as a gift from another friend just now! Maybe I should get a Sebastian Michaelis plushie to go alongside with him.

Oh yeah, I donated my blood again after 3 months. This time I went with Yiuliang and it's his first time. The receptionist didn't believe I am over 45kg as she claimed I am all bones so she insisted to take my weight right in front of the doctor. I'm definitely above 45kg, in fact I am at a healthy weight of 50+kg.

Not sure exactly how heavy because I'm not supposed to look down when I'm taking my weight. Anyway, I love the satellite branch at Woodlands! I'm going there from now onwards unless there are mobile blood banks in my area.

Brief summary of Sakura Fest!

Just came out from the shower desu! Went for Sakura Fest at the Singapore Flyer yesterday (since it's already after 12AM) but it wasn't as big scaled as I thought it would be. Oh well, had fun anyways. It's a 3 day event so if you haven't make your trip down yet, you have till Sunday!

The MUST TRY things at the event: Keisuke ramen and the Oracle Fortune Telling.

I've been going for fortune telling sessions so much recently (I just didn't mention them all on my blog) that I think I'm going to die early. There's this saying that the more you pry about your future, the lesser your lifespan will become. Some kind of myth belief I suppose.

It was super accurate I was so impressed! I am about 80% soaked in happiness and 20% filled with depression. Of course the 80% are the stuff that I wanted to hear but the 20% consists of things I don't wanna realise. Like I know it's there but I don't want to acknowledge it but somehow the results seems to tell me that I have to face it.

Not anything major though. Sounds serious but it actually isn't. XD

I'm hopping over to my private blog to record it down just in case I forget the details heh heh heh.

I don't particularly like Mayuri in STEINS:GATE because Kana Hanazawa voiced her (*press dislike button*) and her character in the anime is kinda air headed. I don't usually like characters that seem helpless, clumsy, and blur because I'll get irritated HAHAHA.

I swear I don't know how to use Photoshop. But somehow this picture turned out to make my face so slim that I'm loving it so much, I'm going to spam use it on my Twitter's display picture and on Facebook.

In addition, I'm planning to use this for my blog's polaroid above too, or maybe at the side as a profile picture. When I like something, like a song or some sort, I tend to spam it till I'm sick of it. Same goes to pictures I guess? I'm so irritating. >:D

It was actually my MSN display picture as well but I switched it HAHAHA. Cannot be too self obsessed with my new found miracle taken picture.

.....Anyway, have you noticed anything different? If you haven't, I'll tell you what's wrong at the end of this entry. No one realised there was something amiss until I pointed it out, and it was a VERY OBVIOUS difference.

Even my close pal Yiloong aka Gayness aka Paparazzi didn't notice it when I met him that day. Waiiii oh waiiiii!

Went to Bukit Timah's Island Creamery for ice cream that day. Was actually only meeting Yiloong aka Gayness aka Paparazzi for "celebration" that day (so pathetic I've only got one bEsTfRiEnD4eVaz) but Sheryl did a surprise appearance in a cab.

When Gayness said, "Look who's in the cab", I was like "WHO? O.O"

I think my face looks so slim on the first picture because I never smile. See now the baby fat came out. Walau.

I thought Sheryl after getting engaged, will fly up high into the sky and will never be found but surprisingly she did visit Earth one more time on my birthday for a couple of hours. I am so touched until I want to cry and make noise like Taiwan dramas. *sniff sniff*

Although he is Gayness and he is irritating and likes gossip and likes to piss me off and likes to probe things that he shouldn't and likes to be very ungentleman but he sometimes, got his good points.

He's currently looking for love by the way. I can't believe there's actually people that thinks that I am dating Gayness. How can it be? He's like someone I would find for pyjamas parties or an all girls high tea session leh.

So I plugged it in into my laptop just now and it blackout-ed OMG!! I faster screamed for my brother so he came in and plugged the thumbdrive but nothing went wrong. Turns out that I plugged it upside down HAHAHA I FAIL."

Met up with my soulmate Yiuliang last Sunday and treated him to Jack's Place as a belated birthday treat! Has been really busy these days but was glad that we're still catching up with each other despite us leading different of lifestyles.

Whenever we meet up, we used to talk about the old days.

My second time cosplaying desu. :3

For my first, I've done Lenalee from D.Gray-man. My RazorTV interview can be found here. This time round I did Kagura from Gintama! Instead of the normal two buns Kagura, we did the Yoshiwara Arc version so Kagura is wearing a short yukata and has only one bun instead.

Sherry is cosplaying as my brother, Kamui and Shujie is cosplaying as our father, Umibouzu. Many, many thanks to Sherry for helping me out in various ways due to me being such a newb.

This is not a SOY'C coverage entry by the way, it's only going to consist of our cosplay pictures taken by various photographers which I managed to find on Facebook. Otsukaresama deshita!

I have a couple of not-very-nice-shots tagged on Facebook. Wanted to untag myself since my face is really as round as a fishball but since it IS a fact anyway, removing them doesn't make any difference. Sad but true.
